Shabnam Resources Trust is a registered non-profit charity focusing on children’s welfare in rural and semi urban areas in India. More focused towards catering to the needs of children, destitute and senior citizens
CHILDREN SUMMER CAMP
SIZE OF THE CAMP : 40 children per camp
Dates : May 10th till 15th 2010 from morning 10 am till 4 p.m
SELECTION OF BENEFICIARIES : children from broken home situations, children rescued from child labour and trafficking, migrant children from other states like Andhra Pradesh etc,
SUBJECTS TO BE COVERED DURING CAMP : music, and traditional crafts decision making, life coping skills ,memory skills, balancing knowledge and information , story telling, library usage and basic presentation skills in English and Tamil etc. sports camp ,more importantly about Eco devn. PLANTING OF FRUIT TREES , for boys basics in photography, for girls about fashion designing or doll making (bears , tigers etc)
METHODOLOGY TO BE APPLIED : play way method with lots of games, exercises and participatory SESSIONS
OUTCOME FROM THE CAMP ; there would be change in the understanding of the child who are from difficult situations, exposure to ground realities and its usage would be bring new understanding to their lives, positive changes in learning and schooling reducing the drop out rates

KITS FOR CHILDREN 40 CHILDREN X 12 DOLLARS = 480 US DOLLARS
(kit would contain a school bag + books+ food pack container with spoon)
MATERIALS NEEDED SUCH AS STATIONARIES, PENCILS, CRAYONS
ART PAPERS, PRINTING, color cloths , stuffing materials
ETC = 450 US DOLLARS
NATURE VISIT/PICNIC = 400 US DOLLARS
Camera for basic photography training = 150 us dollars.
Total = 2320 us dollars in euros1657
